The story centers on Atin (Anirban Bhattacharya), a rational and logical bachelor whose life takes a bizarre turn after he buys a mysterious brass idol of an unknown goddess from a curio shop in Park Street. Despite warnings from his friends and his maid Pushpa di (Sudipa Basu) about the idol, which they identify as the tantric Buddhist goddess Matangi, Atin becomes increasingly indifferent to his own life, sacrificing everything for the deity. Adding to the unsettling atmosphere is Damari (Parno Mittra), a helpless widow whom Atin allows to stay in his house. Unbeknownst to Atin, worshipping the idol without the correct rituals leads to extreme and disastrous consequences as his curiosity spirals into faith, and then into a dangerous obsession and fanaticism.

The series promises a chilling psychological journey as Atin’s devotion twists into madness, blurring the boundaries between reality and the supernatural.
