StoryLine:

“Kotee” (2024) is a Kannada drama thriller set in the corrupt city of Janatha. Kotee (Dhananjaya) is an honest, hardworking man trying to earn enough money to secure a good future for his sister, including her marriage. However, Kotee’s principled nature puts him at odds with Dinoo Saavkaar (Ramesh Indira), a powerful and ruthless gang leader in the city. Despite his best efforts to remain truthful and avoid illegal activities, Kotee finds himself increasingly trapped by Saavkaar’s manipulations.

Faced with a life-altering choice due to his escalating debts, Kotee is forced to consider drastic measures. He must decide whether to compromise his values and carry out Saavkaar’s dirty work to eliminate his debt, or face being eliminated himself. The film follows Kotee’s struggle as he grapples with this moral dilemma, fighting to protect his family and maintain his integrity in a city where corruption reigns supreme.
